Leave and Live the Street
Leave and Live the Street is a street photography series that captures outdoor scenes from diverse corners of the world. Through this ongoing documentary project, I share my observations of streets and urban life, revealing the distinctive rhythm and essence of each place.
The series explores how people spend their time in public spaces — walking to their destinations, working, talking, shopping, waiting, socializing, or simply wandering in the open air. These seemingly ordinary moments, when framed within the geometry of a photograph, take on new significance. They begin to resemble carefully staged scenes — as if life itself were performing for the camera.
In these spontaneous moments, occurring without choreography or plan, there are brief instants when all elements align in harmony — a fleeting order amid the everyday randomness. Each photograph becomes a visual document of how we inhabit time and space, starring not actors but real people simply living their lives.
The first volumes, Leave and Live the Street – Strasbourg and Leave and Live the Street – Istanbul, are complete and ready for publication. The next series, photographed in Baden-Württemberg, is currently in progress.
I welcome publishers for collaboration on publication and curators for exhibition opportunities.
